"Where I have been and where I am going is always just an adventure away." - Barbara Simpson

Water and Landscapes

Since I was born I was exposed to a life of travel. It was inevitable that this would be the wanderlust that would strength my desire to explore and learn from life and travel, more. It is a pretty big world out there and while I realize I have hardly touched the surface, still, for all the places I have been and where I am going, I am delighted to record in my painting diary these truly remarkable places I have had the pleasure of enjoying, in painting history. I am grateful to both of my parents, too, for such abundant opportunities and to definitely experience each location that we have lived, fully. And now, Mom watching from Heaven above, she knows (still), as does Dad, that I continue on my faithful plan as it was set out to be. After leaving home many years ago, I moved much and many adventures succeeded and now, together with my amazing man who loves to travel as much as I do, travel is always on the forefront. It is just a painting away, adding to my painting diary. One might even say that (most days) I have the travel bug, seeking new adventure be it far away, or even as a tourist in my own hometown.

On this page catch a glimpse of some of the breathtaking regions I have had the pleasure of living and or otherwise have visited. I do love the beach, being on the water! Each is a place in time documented in history recorded in my painting diary.  I am certain another adventure is just around the corner so be sure to visit again and as I am sure to capture more, in paint!  Read about my painting process here. Each painting is original, unique, one-of-a-kind and available for collection. There are no prints. See a painting you absolutely want? Contact artist today. Originals-Only (no prints) Since 1998. Tangerine Dreams (Home Sweet Home)

16"x40"x1.5", acrylic/satin gloss on gallery-wrapped canvas, unframed; Price: $1,400

The spectacular scene you see to the left is our view at home. There is something to be said for a pretty sky, God's canvas, something just out of this world as spectacular as the view we have. We feel incredibly blessed with view after view each and every day and night from where we sit at home. Using my own photo references, this particular shot was taken last year (June 30, 2018) and now the painting has come to life; completed, July 1, 2019. Original-Only (no prints).
